چکیده

A transformation of the form x → ±iy ∈ iR; x, y ∈ R, or an equivalent similarity transformation with a metric operator η are shown to map non-Hermitian PT -symmetric Hamiltonians into Hermitian partner Hamiltonians in Hilbert space. Isospectrality and mass signature are also discussed. PACS codes: 03.65.Ge, 03.65.Ca

Non-Hermitian PT -symmetric and Hermitian Hamiltonians’ correspondence: A mass signature

A transformation of the form x → iy; x, y ∈ R, or a Darbouxal-type similarity transformation with a metric operator η are shown to transform non-Hermitian PT -symmetric Hamiltonians (with positive mass m = + |m|) into their Hermitian partner Hamiltonians (with negative mass m = − |m|) in Hilbert space. PACS codes: 03.65.Ge, 03.65.Ca

Non-Hermitian von Roos Hamiltonian’s η-weak-pseudo-Hermiticity and exact solvability

A complexified von Roos Hamiltonian is considered and a Hermitian first-order intertwining differential operator is used to obtain the related position dependent mass η-weak-pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonians. Two ”user -friendly” reference-target maps are introduced to serve for exactsolvability of some non-Hermitian η-weak-pseudo-Hermitian position dependent mass Hamiltonians. A non-Hermitian PT -...

Pseudo-Hermitian versus Hermitian position-dependent-mass Hamiltonians in a perturbative framework

We formulate a systematic algorithm for constructing a whole class of PT symmetric Hamiltonians which, to lowest order of perturbation theory, have a Hermitian analogue containing a position-dependent mass. The method is applied to the PT -symmetric cubic anharmonic oscillator. A new example is provided by a PT -symmetric extension of the one-parameter trigonometric Pöschl-Teller potential.

Pseudo-Hermiticity versus PT -Symmetry II: A complete characterization of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with a real spectrum

We give a necessary and sufficient condition for the reality of the spectrum of a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian admitting a complete set of biorthonormal eigenvectors. Recently, we have explored in [1] the basic mathematical structure underlying the spectral properties of PT -symmetric Hamiltonians [2]. In particular, we have shown that these properties are associated with a class of more general (...

First-order intertwining operators with position dependent mass and η-weak-pseudo-Hermiticity generators

A Hermitian and an anti-Hermitian first-order intertwining operators are introduced and a class of η-weak-pseudo-Hermitian positiondependent mass (PDM) Hamiltonians are constructed. A corresponding reference-target η-weak-pseudo-Hermitian PDM – Hamiltonians’ map is suggested. Some η-weak-pseudo-Hermitian PT -symmetric Scarf II and periodic-type models are used as illustrative examples. Energy-l...
